A Very Nice WWII German 27" Railroad Eagle Deutsche Reichsbahn Adler
This is a beautiful WWII German train eagle by . This Adler still has all of its threaded posts on the back which are uncut along with 2 of its original nuts. It measures 27 inch wing span and 13 3/4 inches form the top of the head to the bottom of the wreath surrounding the swastika. There is a threaded hole in the center of the swastika in the front which goes through the bottom post. I think its original and might have held a locking screw. Its eagle is marked back LOK with an RZ4 under that and BLN under that, which I assume is for Berlin. On the wing it has the foundry mark HE along with the metal content of the RR Eagle GAL Mg Si. This is a wonderful eagle and will sell fast!
