A very salty WWII German army officers cavalry crusher style visor cap.  This visor was in the grouping with the 1ft DE flag I bought.  its salty but look really good with other visors.  Many European dealers have tried to buy this from me over the years but I figured I would just put it on my site.  Click on the picture below to see more images.  $595

A reasonably priced WWII German Luftwaffe tropical pith helmet. The helmet is in nice but a little stained condition. There are extra holes on the eagle side but you can not see any sign that another eagle was on the helmet and everything looks period. The chin strap is unfortunately broken but its priced accordingly. A salty fire damaged WWII German gebirgsjäger officers overseas cap.  Its made from high quality wool cap with dark green soutache and silver bullion piped.  The eagle is flat wire bullion and the cockade is a raised bullion embroidered.  The cap has been exposed to fire and looks like it was flat while it got burned.  Man if this cap could talk!  Click on the picture below to see more images.  $695

A very cool WW2 M40 German Helmet that has been painted by the Vet.  This is a nice example of a Vet Art helmet.  From the style of art it looks to have been painted in the 1950's.  It says "KARL" on the front and the top says "for commercial use only"  The helmet has its original liner and draw string and not been altered or damaged at all.  The original paint seems perfect under the toned white paint.  The white paint comes off when scrapped with your fingernail.  The helmet is a Q62 and the lot number is DN360 or DN369.  Click on the picture below to see more images. $

This is a nice worn WWII transitional M1916 German helmet.  It is a M16 shell with a Nazi period field grey (feldgrau) finish, with rough texture (schifergrau) finish applied.  The liner size is 56 and I cant see any markings on the helmet shell.  The liner is unmissed with and very tight.  It is in as found condition.  Click on the picture below to see more images.  $795

This is a salty M40 Single decal camo Luftwaffe helmet.  The shell is a Q66 which was made by Quist and is sized 66.  The liner looks blood stained and is stiff.  The chin strap was replaced at some point.  It was part of a large grouping I bought in 2015 from the son of the vet who brought it home from WW2.   Priced to sell!  Click on the picture below to see more images.  $1295

This is a nice uncleaned and unmessed with named and unit marked WWII Japanese T90 army helmet.  On the helmet skirt is says 六 高射砲 井滝 (Roku kōsha-hō Itaki) which translates 6 Anti-Aircraft Cannon (owners sir name) Itaki. Click on the picture below to see more images. $695

Here is a salty rural police officers tschako.  It was made by Erel Tschako.  This helmet is a nice example of a war time helmet.   The eagle front plate and chin scales are in really nice condition.  Officers shako's are not easy to find these days so don't miss out!  Click on the picture below to see more images. $995

Salty WWII German army and kriegs marine overseas cap grouping with the with the vets dog tags, good conduct medal and campaign ribbon who brought them home.  Both are nice field worn examples.  The army overseas cap is missing the cockade.  The Navy overseas cap has the owners name sewn in on the inside.  It is stained, faded and heavily worn.  I've owned theses for a few years now and it now time to pass this vets grouping on.  Click on the picture below to see more images. $1195

A very nice allgemeine SS EM / NCO M34 overseas cap.  This SS overseas cap is in almost perfect condition.  This silvered Skull button is marked RZM 63 and SS.   It has the typical machine embroidered ss eagle on the side.  The inside has black oilcloth RZM SS tag and the size 56 stamped in white.  A hard to find textbook SS overseas cap!  Click on the picture below to see more images. $3500 SOLD!

A WWII German M35 Double Decal Police Helmet.  This is a salty but still nice M35 dd apple green police helmet.  The shell is an NS 64 and the batch number is D136.  As you can see from the photos the condition is heavily worn and was probably taken off a body judging by the liner and remnants of the chin strap.  Both decals and the shell paint are still in nice displayable condition.  This helmet is price very reasonably and should sell fast!  Click on the picture below to see more images.  $950 SOLD!

A nice Early M35 double decal heer helmet.  This is a really nice helmet that I have had for years.  The helmet shell is a NS66 and has the lot number B1.  The liner has the owners name written on it and the helmet skirt has something else written on it.  The eagle decal is real nice and the national shield is painted on very neatly.  I bought this helmet out of the woodwork many years ago.  lick on the picture below to see more images.  $2495 SOLD!

A nice German M38 single decal Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger helmet.  This is a really nice paratrooper helmet that I was told was picked up at Normandy.  It has a nice decal and most of its original paint.  Its a later helmet with aluminum bolts to hold the liner.  The shell is an ET68 with a lot number of 33.  The liner had blood in it and unfortunately the nephew of the vet used a lather conditioner on it but at least it still there!  This helmet would be a great addition to any collection!  Click on the picture below to see more images.  $

A high quality WWII German municipal police visor (schutzpolizei)This private purchase visor cap is produced in blue green wool.  The center band is brown cloth.  The piping is green for schutzpolizei.  This is a high quality visor was made by Heinrich Balke.  The hat is a large size but its not marked.  There are some moth holds in the visor which are pictured.  This visor is priced to sell!  Click on the picture below to see more images. $650 SOLD!

This is a post World War 1 original Brunswick busby, also known as a Hussar  Regiment 17.  This busby is all Original and extremely rare and is Named inside.  This has the correct Waterloo Peninsula banner with The famous Totenkopf Skull or know as Death Head.   These Busby were made until 1930S.  The helmet is in outstanding condition.  I think this one was made around 1918.  These later helmets were made of Fur more than beaver or bear skin.   Their are no extra holes in the mounts.  This one came from an old collection and was checked out by a major collector and I was told its all original including the Brunswick cockade.  It has normal wear to be expected but almost impossible to find on the market today.    This would make a fine example to any ones collection.  Click on the picture below to see more images. A very nice WWII US transition M1917A helmet.  Introduced in 1939 these helmets were only in use for a short time They were replaced early in WWII by the M-1 "steel pot" helmet.  This helmet shell is marked ZF41. The leather liner is very nice and is marked with a 7 stamped on it for the size.  The chin strap is also minty.  The shell has a heavy wood chip texture under the paint which looks really nice.  This transition M1917A would be heard to upgrade!  Click on the picture below to see more images. $250 SOLD!

A Very High Quality Luftwaffe Officers White Top Visor.  This is high quality private purchase white top officers visor.  The sweat shield says Deutsche Wertarbeit and has the Deutsches Leader logo impress in the sweat band.  The white top appears to be made of silk and is removable.  This is an excellent white top luft visor!!  Click on the picture below to see more images. $1895 SOLD!

This is a really nice un-messed with, uncleaned and as found IJA type 90 steel helmet.  The paint is excellent with only a little rust around the skirt and a couple spots on the inside.  The liner pads are there but the liner is a little dry.  I just got this helmet in out of the woodwork along with 3 other type 90 helmets, a cloth Japanese cap and a 1000 stitch belt. A nice named Allgemeine SS NCO visor.  This is an early RZM ss visor with a second pattern skull and political eagle.  It has the owners name and standarte under the sweat shield on the inside.  His name was Johann Weiss of Standarte Germania.  I did find a ss man by the name of Johann Weiss who was a guard at KZ Majdanek.  He was tried and sentenced to death then his sentence was commuted to 10 years.  I'm not sure if this is the same guy though.  This visor will be a good research project.  Click on the picture below to see more images.  $6500 SOLD!

This is a nice Orts level political leader visor.  The out side of the visor is in almost mint condition.  It is missing the chin cord though.  The inside is mint with the exception of the sweat band being ripped in a few places which you can see in the photos.  This does not detract from the appearance of the cap in any way.  This is a very reasonably priced visor!  Click on the picture below to see more images. $450 SOLD!

This is a very nice WWII German M42 single decal helmet with remnants of spray camo.  The helmet is an NS66 shell with the batch number N288.  The decal is almost completely intact along with its original chin strap.  The shell has remnants of blue green spray camo on it which can be seen in a few of the photos but did not show to well under my photo lighting for some reason.  You can see it really well in natural light.  The liner also has the name of the owner (Middel??).  The liner is a bit dry and my picker glued one of fingers that tore off back on.  Still a very nice combat helmet for the money.  Click on the picture below to see more images. $895 SOLD!

A Waffen-SS single decal M42 helmet.   The shell is an EF64 and has the typical EF SS decal.  The lot number is 7274.  Its interesting the number 5 is backwards and I assume its being used as a 2.  The decal is almost all there.  This helmet was obviously taken from a solder who had a head wound which was most likely fatal.  The liner is dry and stained with blood and the part of the chin strap that is there is also stained with blood.  There is also a bullet dent in the top of the helmet which can me seen in the pics.  A nice single decal ss M42 helmet for the money.  Click on the picture below to see more images. $2800 SOLD!

Prussian  artillery in gray.  A rare Prussian artillery enlisted mans piskelhaube helmet with late oxidized steel fittings.  This helmet is regiment marked JR. A Salty WWII German M40 Helmet With Bullet Hole.  This helmet was obviously being worn when the bullet pierced the right skirt of the shell.  You can tell by the dry liner, strap and rust inside the shell. There is remnants of black paint over the factory green paint.  The shell is a Q64 and is I think batch number N857.  It also still has the original chin strap.  A nice starter helmet for the beginning collector!  Click on the picture below to see more images. $350 SOLD!

A minty set of SS visor insignia.  The skull is marked RZM 499/41 for Zimmerman.  The SS eagle is marked 155/36 which is the maker mark Assmann and Sohne.  They are a matched set that came together with another set by the same makers which is now sold.  both still retain most of there silver finish.  These would be perfect for restoring a visor that is missing its insignia or just displayed in a case.  Click on the picture below to see more images. $2295 SOLD!

Very Nice Named Kriegsmarine Officers Visor with bullion insignia.  It has the name Römermann sewn on the inside of the top.  There was a Römermann Fähnring. This is a very early Allgemeine SS Visor hat.  This hat is from probably around 1932 just directly after the kepi. It has the early generic RZM tag grommet style air vents and large chin cord buttons.  It is a little salty but still is a very rare early SS cap missing from many SS collections.  The sweat band has 2 initial discs in it and because the cap is so early one might be able to trace who the owner was.  Don't miss out one of earliest Allgemeine SS Visors! Early imperial Japanese navy cherry blossom vented helmet.  This is and extremely rare IJN cherry blossom helmet.  I believe these are called M18 cherry blossom vented navy helmet.  The helmet has no liner.  The helmet has I believe the remnants of a name in white painted kanji on the rim which you can see on the inside pictures.  All on the liner spanners are present.  The over all condition of the paint is very good.  The anchor on the front is missing the left side bottom hook which is not very noticeable.  These helmets sell for about $8000 if they are complete this one is prices and a fraction of that!  One of the rarest of Japanese helmets at a reasonable price!  Click on the picture below to see more images. $3500 SOLD!

Here is a nice WW II Japanese imperial army helmet.  I bought this Japanese T-90 helmet along with the Japanese canteen at a recent estate auction.  they were probably from the same solder so I am selling them together.  The helmet is missing the liner and the Imperial Japanese army canteen has a broken shoulder strap.  This helmet and canteen was probably taken from a dead solder because the Japanese did not surrender but fought to the death.  The helmet shell is marked with a star stamp and the kanji Dai which translated means "big".  A great addition to any headgear collection.  Click on the picture below to see more images. $495 SOLD!

A beautiful RZM extra quality Allgemeine SS Officers visor that was period upgraded from an Allgemeine SS EM visor.  This hat was brought back by a member of the 101st airborne, 506th E company.   It was most likely a SS medical Standartenoberjunker visor.  There is no mothing on the top and every thing about the hat is text book. the visor even still retains its nice saddle shape.  The visor bill has a few stitches that have broke loose on the ends and the orange padding is dried and falling apart a little bit.  These Allgemeine SS visors are getting very hard to find and in this condition almost impossible.  Click on the picture below to see more images.  SOLD!

Here is another nice Single Decal M42 helmet.  This was a direct Vets estate purchase and this lid has never been in a collection.  The shell is marked NS64 and has a batch number of 1854.  The helmet also has the name of the owner painted on the back (Rlage).  The split pins are a loose but this lid is fresh out of the woodwork and has never been messed with in any way.  Click on the picture below to see more images. I am very proud to be able to offer possibly the best M35 double decal army helmet available in the world today.  The shell is stamped ET66 and 3606.  This helmet is   un-issued and as you can see it looks as if there was never a chin strap attached.  It has the early style un-reinforced liner and is dated 1937.  There is not much to say other then this helmet is for the collector who wants the best.  I have many pictures so please be patient Click on the picture below to see more images. I just picked this great cap up today along with some medals and insignia from the nephew of the WWII vet who brought it home from the war.  It is a mint WWII German Luftwaffe enlisted/NCO M43 field cap (Luftwaffe Einheitfeldm?ze M43).  This cap is wool outside with one piece trap insignia and lined with 44 date and 57 size stamp on the inside.  This cap would be impossible to upgrade.  Click on the picture below to see more images. I just bought this helmet and another M42 from my most gifted pickers.  He was at a house sale and asked the guy if he had any WWII stuff.  Turns out he was a vet and brought my buddy in to his basement where he pulled out 2 German M42 helmets.  This helmet is in great shape and is complete with chin strap.  The dome stamp is clear and visible on the inside of the helmet.  The helmet was made by NS and is a size 66.  It is also stamped D155.  M42 Helmets made by Vereinigte Deutsche Niketwerke are quite rare.  One of the liner rivets were replace buy the vet at some point with on he made but would be easy replaced.  Click on the picture below to see more images.  SOLD!

This is the other M42 my picker brought from the vet who brought it home from the war.  This German M42 Helmet is marked NS60 D439.  This shell also has a clear dome stamp.  The chin strap is broken and is missing the buckle.  The liner has the German solders name written on it (Martr. 2nd pattern Allgemeine SS overseas hat.  This is one of the rarest SS overseas hats around because they were in wear for less then a year before the SS went to the cloth Scull.  These cap are often mistaken for panzer caps.  It is in minty condition and has a beautiful SS oil cloth RZM tage on the inside.  This is an absolutely genuine and rare SS cap.  SOLD! Beautiful Summer wait Luftwaffe officers visor with bullion insignia. This is an opportunity to own a very rare visor by the most most desirable maker Erel.  This piece is in very nice condition with only light staining and one spot of minor ware on the top which can clearly be seen in the pictures.  This cap is both dated 5 16 38 and has a name Born written on the sweet band.  I have not investigated who this person was and is a great research opportunity for the new owner.  Size 58 1/2.  SOLD!
