This is a very nice imperial Japanese gunto mounted katana.  The sword comes with its original sword bag with surrender tag  sewn on to it.  The surrender tag has the owners name and personal information written on it.  The blade is unsigned and in great polish.  The blades cutting edge is unusually long at 27 1/2".  Most swords of this period have cutting edges less then 26" long.  The handle wrap is broken over the menuki and will cost about $100 to have re-wrapped.  I will arrange it for the new owner if they like.  A very nice military collectable!  Just click on the picture for more images.  $1850 Sold!

This is a very reasonably priced katana that is mounted in WWII gunto mounts.  The sword has a suguha hamon with ashi.  The handle, tsuba and seppa are very nice.  The sword was signed but the signature was professionally removed during the 40s.  The saya is plain wood and most likely was covered with a leather combat cover.  The blade has some light scratches, rust and tarnishing from finger prints and miss handling.   As you can see from the pictures it is not bad at all.  This blade will clean up very nice and if I have time I will clean it up some.  This sword is priced very reasonably and will sell fast!  Just click on the picture below for more images.  $1650 SOLD!

ABR Herder Solingen.  The dagger fittings are very salty but there are no dents in the scabbard and the ball end of the scabbard is not mashed.  The ebony handle is dry and is cracked but stable and very restorable.  The dagger blade is in nice condition and looks to be a factory ground Rohm.  The cross guard is stamped with the owners SS number 74887 and is the number of Hans Fuchs.  I have many pages of documents on him from the National Archives in Maryland.  It also has his NSDAP Membership Number.  This is a very restorable attributed SS dagger priced to sell.  Just click on the picture for more images.  SOLD!
